Cocobolo box....

A cocobolo box inspired by Richard Raffan's mosque boxes. This box is 2 3/4" in both directions, sanded to 12000 micro mesh and waxed.

Lovely. I am really drawn in by the way the shape plays with the grain.

You have a nice way with these boxes.

Mike, just wanted to thank you for the inspiration: spent the weekend making two of these boxes in cocobolo for two of the granddaughters. Fun project!
