Desert Ironwood Vase II

My second and last piece of desert ironwood. No finish on this one, just buffed. 8 inches tall
Very nice. Hard for me to get a finish like that on my best days. Hard to hollow? I've turned some local grown green ironwood but assume this stuff is tougher.

Very nice form and I like the sapwood accent.
Your ceiling fan/light(?) is a bit of a distraction.
