Madrone, turned and carved.
6" x 4-1/4", finished with flaxseed oil.
Nice one, Kalia ! Now I see your need for a reciprocating carver. That size chisel (or larger) would probably benefit from a unit with a little more power.

All of my other work has been carved by hand, but I figured I'd try out the power carver on this one, just for yuks. Sure is handy being able to hold the work in one hand and carve with the other...
