Died Maple and glass

This is part of the continuing experiment in kiln formed glass and wood.
This piece is dyed/lacquered maple and iridized purple glass.
Very well done; it just seems to keep my eye looking at the shape and color. Just one question: Does the glass turn around the HF?

Thanks,
Ray

Steve, another impressive piece. We've discussed glasswork before; any chance of seeing some other angles?
