Dogwood bowl

This had to be one large Dogwood tree, as this bowl is about 10 1/2" dia, and about 4" deep. I decided to leave a really wide rim around the central bowl, because the weight and density of this piece felt so substantial. There was also a large bark inclusion that I wanted to preserve, and what would Dogwood be without a little bark? Sorry about that.
