My first submission is a maple platter about 14" in diameter and the result of taking Stepen Hatcher's class in crystal mineral inlays at the John Campbell Folk School.
 
I though of Stephen the second I saw this. I'm thinking he's a good teacher AND you're a quick learner. Gorgeous work. I like the triple inlay on the rim also.

Bill, this is a fabulous piece of work. Mr. Hatcher must be pleased. I will have to consider taking his course at JCCFS just to spend a week with someone so talented. I think this is beautiful.
 
Fantastic work!! I love the gnarled old wind blown tree.
