I have been practicing turning beads with a Drozda style spindle gouge. I have become fairly good at turning larger beads (1/2" to 3/8") so once I turned this Box Elder exterior to become a HF I decided to turn 1/4" beads. I found out quickly that turning small beads is more challenging than turning larger beads. I have a ways to go.

HF is 12"x7" with approx. 1/16" wall from bottom of bead to inside wall. I wanted to do something different for the top. I had these "sticks" that I have tried on several other turning. I turned the top to mimic the form, dyed to match the red of the Box Elder, and used the sticks which kinda match the color and form of the beads. Comments and critiques welcome.
