End Grain vessel from scraps.

End Grain vessel from scraps.

This is an 5" diameter by 4" high made from glued scrap strips that are cut at 90 degrees to the glued strips. Wedges are cut from strips such that end end grain is exposed.
it’s all end grain Bob? How was it to turn?
Was easy to turn without tear out. I did one with the face grain showing, but did not like it as much. Thanks for the question. You can see more pictures in post with a close up of the end grain.
