EROSION

carved art piece from Poplar about 9 1/2 inches
Beautiful design, Michelle, and great execution. I like your choice of Poplar with a quiet grain that doesn't compete with the design.

Michelle,

Although I am retired, I'm new to turning. I found you piece wonderful and was wondering what you used to cut the many grooves through your piece?

Hi Peter. Thanks for your comment on my work. I can think of many ways to do work like this..dremel, rotary carving units, scrollsaw..hand carving..in other words, what you have can be used. I hope you enjoy your new hobby and that you make some turnings & share with us.
