Fly Away

Birdseye Maple Burl, 1/16th inch x 18" winged bowl
SUPER!!!! Very nice and very delicate....choice of wood perfect. Is it mine and when did you ship it????? GRIN!!!!

Mr. Don, Thanks for your kind words. I will ship it as soon as you replace the wood so I can have fun turning it again.

very nice

Thank you, the wing span is around 18" thick and the bowl is around 8" to 9". The side view appears like it is flying since no rim is on the bowl and the wings are at the top, thus the name. It is at Columbia Museum or Art on Display at this time so I can not retrieve a pic of the side view, wish I had taken one. PS, I hope it will not be sold , I would like to have this piece back.
