This bench has a lot of spindle work in it! Nice job picking up the detail from the legs of the table to use in the bench legs. A very nice bench!

Kurt, thanks for the kind words, and the astute observation of the neighboring table leg. Actually, the bench was made before the 8-foot long companion table. I have a whole living-dinning room of funiture, some with turnings, some with carvings, all out of walnut that have the same elements of design. I plan to add them to the gallery soon. Most of the turners I know are not that interested in furniture and are more for the artsy bowls, vases, and boxes.
