Hildegard von Bingen

A further development of "Meekness" is the "Hildegard von Bingen". Hildegard was a nun in the region of Bingen and was very interested to explore and to save the nature. That you can find by looking at this new object. It's a box in the shape of a nun, flexed over a ball, what means the earth and the nature. To much abstract ??? What do you mean ?
Thanks for comments
Really beautiful. Can we get some insight as to the turning techniques used? I'm guessing you drilled the large circular hole off-center before turning, but just guessing.

Hi Norm,
you are right. It must be "drilled" or turned before.
Thanks for your answers.
The "Hildegard von Bingen" is currently in a exposition and is very accepted.
Jo
