Hollow Form - 550

Hollow Form - 550

The wood is London Plane. The size of this piece is 10" dia x 7" tall. It was turned green to completion. The bead at the opening represents the thickness throughout the entire piece. The finish is Danish oil and buffed with white diamond followed by carnauba wax.

The wood was rescued from a near by town cutting down many old trees along the streets of an old development. Mostly Oak and Maple with an occasional London Plane. Much of the wood was gone before I was able to get there.
Ed, I love the purity in the design of all your work, especially this one. Do you sell your work in any galleries or craft shows?
