Indian Rosewood
Chad Eames

Indian Rosewood

The vessel is Indian Rosewood and the finial is stained Slippery Elm.
Chad-

What's the size and finish? While you were doing this piece, did you think about using Black Wood for the finial?

Gary

It's about 6" diameter and 7" tall. I believe the finish is Velvit Oil and carnauba and beeswax. I did consider Black Wood, but I wanted to experiment with stain and I found the slippery elm to be very cooperative... and free, which is always nice. :)
