Made from a "Capalta" tree I cut down about 15 years ago. Interesting wood to work with. The collar area was carved, the features are pyro'd, then I used several Articicol dyes to add some color to rather bland looking wood. All in all, I'm pleased with the result. All comments are welcomed.
The whole piece is intriguing, but I find the rim treatment the most exciting. I really like the way the rim curves work with the curves of the body of the piece.
