Mustang Series, hammered

3 3/4"x3 1/2" maple burl, pyrography, hammered (base), finished with danish oil and wax. I had originally planned to brand the base, however the burl was too spectacular to cover, so I decided to hammer it.
What a great series in the last 4 pics Molly. You've developed a nice style with these and the execution is great. Do you have problems with smoke - or do you just use a big fan to pull away all the fumes?

Thanks Jeff, I do have problems with smoke. I've tried a variety of means to avoid it including fans in every configuration and airflow. I've not been too successful with the fans when I do the heavy branding. When I do that I wear a respirator.
