Norfolk Island Pine - Heavily spalted. 8" diameter, 4" height. Carved Feet. Oil / resin finish.
Ed, I just looked at your stuff.
I LIKE THIS! Is it translucent? I'd love a look at the bottom.
9 is as high as I go till I hold it in my hands.
 
George - Translucent? Yes and no. It's heavily spalted and spalting really inhibits the translucence of NIP. The areas where there is limited spalting are translucent, but since it is a hollow form, nobody every really notices. If I put a light bulb inside it would make a nice night light.

I'll see if I have a picture of the bottom I can send you.
