Oak Bowl

This slightly warped Oak bowl is about 9” x 3 ½”. It was intended to be a twice-turned bowl and it was, but was turned the second time before dry, or reaching equilibrium. Hence it is slightly warped. It was developing a crack and I tried to turn the crack away. It ended up so thin I doubted there would be enough wood to make it round after completely drying. It is finished with Danish oil and the base is dyed black.
