Padauk platter with Maple medallion

This is the second of three padauk platters in memory of my father. It is just under 11" by 1.5" high. I had a small "design opportunity" here and decided to add the maple medallion. Appropriately, this one goes to my sister who also gave me trouble but in the end turned out pretty nice.
