Pear One

Pear One

Brad Pear Natural edge bowl. 8-1/2"
x 4. 3/16 wall thickness except at top of
bark on ends. I got scared and did
not want to lose the bark so i
stopped. I like the black background but it
shows the curve clearer-not great in
this case.
Also couldn't get the color right. It is
actually less yellow and more salmon
color. Yellowish looked better than
the white color that I was also
getting. I could use some advice
about that. I'm using a point and
shoot Canon powershot 260 HS.
C & C always welcome.
Robert, from what I understand, cameras read both black and white backgrounds the same. I was told that a grey a background gives better results. Thus, I have gone to a grey background and have found that it does give me a more accurate color of the wood.
