Wow I thought the handel was a seperate piece Lionel till I had closer look, real cool piece, genuine pouring jug. :)

Gary, the wood is almond, a fantastic wood, dense, hard with an oily feel, just a problem, I've only a few...
there is no finish at this time only buffed with felt disk,
I think danish oil perhaps to enhance the color....

I can understand how the handle was done......a lot of effort here! The pointed interior is where it looks really difficult to get in there for finishing it off........great job!
