Potsherd Vessel

The decorations on this vessel are based on potsherds (pieces of broken pots) that litter the Arizona desert. The designs are from my unpublished kid's book based on playful adaptations of ancient native american designs. The vessel is ambrosia maple, with a spalted maple top and maple finial. The finish is danish oil, and the colors are artist's oil colors diluted in the danish oil.
