Re - Do Birch

Spun this yesterday between fire calls and dinner. Walls were nearly 1/2", and bottom heavy. Decided this morning that the base was wide enough to take more depth. Revised to 3/8 walls and took nearly 3/8 additional off the bottom. ~12x6 first coat poly.
Nope. Surface finish, and that's not a good thing with the Old Maids. They blister a surface finish. Plus, no grip for passing. Good for a greedy popcorn eater who won't share, I suppose.
