So the color was in the wood, it has not faded or turn brown since u took pic, is it from Pennsylvania?

I bought it from a guy in California, so I assume it is native to that region. I've never seen that kind off thing here in PA. So far, the color has not faded at all (maybe I should sell it fast before it does, lol)
