Hollow Vessel
Wood: Walnut
Length: 305mm (12")

I thought I would make the next piece in this series as a hollow vessel but wasn't quite sure this shape would work because of the flow over the centre top. I had to leave waste wood in the centre and blend the top wing into the bottom wing to get the flow right.
I hollowed the vessel through the bottom but unfortunately I went through the side (woops) I was a little upset to say the least,@#@$@$#^$^. I didn't want to waste the piece because I had pretty much finished the top so I added on a new base. I had to hide the join so I textured the bottom with the same texture as the top.
I think the end result worked out ok, I'm happy with it anyway.
Comments and Critiques welcome.
your whole leaf series i am in awe of
