Salvaged Walnut Burl Bowl -1203-3 Top Angle

Salvaged Walnut Burl Bowl -1203, 7-1/2 x 3, Sanded to 1200, Danish Oil, Beall Buff.

Many years ago a friend ran across a piece of walnut burl that looked more beat up and damaged then usable. At the time I had no idea if and what I would do with it, but I couldnt throw it away.

Well I ran across it and decided to try to carefully salvage it with the help of a lot of CA glue at least initially. Kept walls slightly thicker (3/16) to keep bowl intact as the remaining cracks are left open (no glue or fillers used).

Your comments, opinions and critiques are greatly appreciated.

Thanks, JL
