The smaller - D= 6 3/4" x H= 10"
The taller - D= 5 1/'2" x H= 13"
Made from sugar maple. Textured with a pointing tool. Dyed black then while still damp colored with white milk paint. Finished with satin Deft. All comments welcomed.
Frankly I'm surprised that there have been no comments on these pieces Al. They're very well done and your texturing method is excellent as is the dying/colouring. Possibly, if they hadn't been segmented the appearance would have been even more effective. However, give credit where it's due. Great job.
