Sea Creature 1

Sea Creature 1

Carved and textured hollow form inspired by AAW Symposium seminars taught by John Jordan and Troy Grimwood. Sweetbay Magnolia harvested after Hurricane Florence. 6" x 5".
@Steve Brisco Thank you. The wood was rather nondescript. I used black india ink on the inside, holes, and lower areas. Then two coats of purple Rit dye. The highlights are done with white liming wax.
