Siblings, 2023

2 madrone bowls, each turned on 2 axes, then carved.
The smaller is 5-1/4" wide, 3-3/8" tall and 7-1/4" long. The other is about 1/4" wider and longer.
Both are finished with food-grade flaxseed oil.
Very nice! Love that type of carved texture on your raised band. A little tricky around the handles I would assume.

Around the handles is definitely the hairy part of the job. Gotta go slow and gentle to avoid leaving stab marks in the handle, but also deep enough to make the carving look semi-consistent wit the rest of the band. Tricky for sure, but that's where the magic is :>)
