Spalted Quilted Sugar Maple Vase

There is more of this wood across the street... The more of it I turn, the better I like it. I can't imagine what the curl looked like 10 years ago, before the spalting got so advanced (you can see the figure, but it's kind of "sleepy"). VERY nice to turn though
