Spartan Vase

Spartan Vase

This vase was inspired by the Greek vases at the North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh where I visited last fall. The inspiration on pyrography came from Wally Dickerman whose work was featured on the cover of the Woodturners Catalog, spring/summer, 2009 issue.
Awesome!

Andy, congratulations on the cover which is well deserved. This piece is just "Awesome" as Kurt said. The pyrography is unbelievable. Great piece.
