Square winged lidded bowl

Birds eye maple, Bloodwood and Tulipwood.
7 and 1/4 inches square with a 3 and 1/2 bowl opening. Inside, underneath wings and the ball of the finial are all 1/8th inch thick.

Kinda on the strange side, but well done, and actually serves a purpose!!! Send it to me and I will see how it looks with some M&Ms inside.....I like it.

Just to add to this piece . I was awarded 1st prize for it at the Ottawa competition at the weeked 30th till 2nd dec 2007.
In all 3 first prizes so I was very pleased and honored to.
