No, I will not pretend that I make pottery :)
I did make a weathering like on model railroad layouts
It's out ash tree, nails are true
4" dia X 3 5/8" H

Besides the turning and finishing it to look like pottery, the nails make the piece. WOW.

Did you make the nails rust then drill and carve the piece to inset the nails into? Also is that a crack with a round knot hole?
