Sugar maple shallow bowl

Sugar maple shallow bowl

12"x1.5" sugar maple crotch bowl finished with a combination of mineral spirits, lindseed oil and polyurethane. This was special, for my wife, for our anniversary.
Thanks guys. This is the 70th piece in a commission I've been doing for about two years, all from a great old sugar maple. I had to have a piece of this wood as a reminder of this tree from which I'll have made over 100 pieces when finished. My patrons agreed.
