tall cherry vessel

I got some shop time yesterday and finished this vessel. It is cherry and lacquered maple, 17" tall and 3.5" in diameter. I have about 8 hours into it. The wavy collar beneath the finial top looks like a rose engine product but it was hand carved. Photos show both sides and a top detail. Unfortunately, the photo reduction to size for this site makes the finial look wavy, but it's not.
any way i can adjust the photo to get the waves out of the finial?

A really beautiful piece Glenn! Can't wait to see it up close at our next meeting.
Hope you had a great holiday.
Jim
