The Tree

This tree is a collaborative work, Alexa Calliguri and myself. Today we painted, in total eight colors for gradual shading and blending.

The wood is kentucky Coffee Tree, a new one for me.

The back side with the roots is almost as interesting as the top. Can't really call this one a bowl. The coloring was Alexa's suggestion and I am pleased with results.
