Transition Tube Series #1 (2010)

Douglas fir, pigment
Turned on several axis, blended, sandblasted

5 3/4 inches by 20 3/4

This piece is an an example of one of my "tubes" where the work is primarily done on the lathe. It is part of a series that spans on-lathe tubes and tubes done totally off-lathe.

(A bit more on the piece can be found on my website on the featured piece page.)
