Tree
This bowl was for my son. Depicting a huge ash tree in our backyard. The tree seems to hover over us and our home sort of in a protective way. We love this tree :)

I really like the complexity or variety of the texturing. The only question I have is that the predominent texture of the back does not repeat on the front of the piece yet the predominent texture of the front does appear on the back. How big is the piece?

I like it.

I don't LIKE painted/textured/pierced/whatever stuff, BUT I REALLY LIKE THIS!.. Don't know why, other than it is well done and interesting.
Nice form, cool story.
Thanks for posting this one!

Very nice! While you are at it answering Pollock's question about carving, could you comment on what you used for coloring the work?
