Trilogy of Inspiration - # 1

I, like many, read with great interest the article in the December issue of the Journal on suspend forms by Neil Scobie. I have been a fan of all the turners who had pics in the article. This is my first of three meager attempts.

Beach and Walnut. 11" x 7" No, I am not Alan Lacer Jr. I didn't use a skew. I used a beading tool. Wire burning between beads. Turned beads for spacers. Instead of making the legs per the article, I laminated maple veneer with the grain running 90 degrees to the walnut grain. Spray lacquer and carnuba wax buffed.

Comments and critique welcome as always.
