Unintended Consequences

Mulberry with Padauk knob, crack filled with amber CA, finished with Watco Danish oil, normal end grain turning, but the concentric grain rings from the off center pith make the turned rings appear to be off center.
That off center look seems confusing to me. More so inside the vessel than the lid. I do like the nail still in the piece if that is what that is.
