untitled rose

all components of this piece are turned, the cube is turned on three axis points to form a cube, is then hollowed with an ebony threaded insert in the base. The stem is ebony, carved and with real rose thorns, the blossom is holly, one of my spiral turnings. 6" tall .
wow, keith ... this is beautiful...such talent. congratulations on the niche award -- does this get included in the display?

Hi -e-, thanks....I have been contemplating this one for a while. This piece is leaving for "SmallTreasures" exhibit, already sold. How did you hear of the Niche award? Only the mahogany spiral is going the the Niche ceremony, in February. I am working on another similar piece to the rose for a competition here in NY.

keith, you mentioned the Niche in your email to me ... didn't know about the SmallTreasure, however ... great news! love your work.
