Valentine Heart Cherry Bowl

Valentine Heart Cherry Bowl

Turned the bowl to 1/8” wall thickness. 7” diameter, 4” tall, weighs approx. 5.5oz
Developed the heart pattern in CorelDraw software, then used a computer-controlled Laser Cutter to take that pattern and do precise and delicate piercings (burning) 360 degrees around and through the walls of the turned bowl.
The lower outline of the heart was etched also with the laser Cutter, using a different laser power and speed setting.
Sanguine Indian Ink used to emphasize and highlight the hearts.
