This is 8.25 tall at the tip of the finial and 6 inches wide. Still have some final finish work to do on it as well.

Nice work Roger, the contrasting woods compliment each other nicely. Also like the way the lid is fitted and the detail around the finial.

Thanks Odie..........that lid does fit quite nicely........still have more finish work to do.........ran out of time yesterday, and wanted to let the first couple of coats cure out, then make the final few very smooth and a bit glossy.
