Wooden flowers, Magnolia, Elm and Crape' Myrtle. The cat tail is White Oak. The vase is Magnoila with leather stirng and a small wooden ball added. The flowers were dyed with Dharma cloth dye mixed with alcohol. The cat tail is leather dye and the stem is dyed with Dharma dye. The Magnolia vase is fluted, bead blasted and air brushed with Anline dyes. After the dye had dried, then coated all pieces with Danish Oil (several coats). The hollow vase is 7 1/4 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches wide at the top then tapers down to 3 inches. The flowers range from 4 1/2 inches wide next is 3 1/4 inches wide and the smallest is 2 1/2 inches wide. the cat tail is ( the oak part ) is 6 inches long by 1 inch. When I do another cat tail will bead blast it to make it more life like.
Thanks James.
I need to set up the cammera. Take the flowers out of the vase, take a picture of them with the vase, then post the picture.

I have thought of doing something like this for a while but have not gotten a round tuit.

Good work!

Very interesting, I like the way you bring it all together.
