  1. Camphor Worry Vessel

    Camphor Worry Vessel

This is one of my favorite pieces -- the 6"wx4"h vessel has a wonderful feel in hand, and then all i have to do is to sniff inside -- i don't want to put it down
  2. Camphor Pottery

    Camphor Pottery

This is a 10"wx9"h camphor vessel in a pueblo pottery style.
  3. Camphor vessel with Ipe collar

    Camphor vessel with Ipe collar

This is another piece (10"w x 6"h) from the Benicia Camphor harvested in August 2004. The aroma from the camphor is captured within through the used of the collar. Great piece to pick up and sniff.
  4. Benicia 1st Street Camphor - SW style

Benicia 1st Street Camphor - SW style

So far, this is one of my favorite pieces from the camphor. This 10"w x 5"h Southwestern style bowl is finished outside with shellac and Chapman's beeswax, and inside with just Chapman's wax to keep the camphor odor. This is the first time i've used Chapman's and like it so far.
  5. Benicia 1st Street Camphor - SW style

Benicia 1st Street Camphor - SW style

Some very special camphor trees were removed from 1st Street in Benicia, California. We rescued the trunks and this is one of many pieces in the works from the wood. This is a great shape for camphor; the very aromatic fragrance is captured with the vessel.
  6. Benicia 1st Street Camphor

    Benicia 1st Street Camphor

This 10"w x 5.5"h hollow vessel is from the very special camphor trees removed from 1st in Benicia, CA. The collar is of Ipe, with the designed burned in. (by the way, i was really hungry turninig this piece and it shows...it's shape is exactly like a loaf of french bread)
