    Coolibah Burl

I wanted to do something to show the outside of the piece as well. The turning was straightforward but the base was a challenge for me. I actually turned 8 bases before I came up with this one. Measures 9" x 7-1/2" x 4" tall. The turned surface is buffed only.
  5. Coolibah Wing

    Coolibah Wing

Coolibah Burl. Approx. 11" x 8" x 7/8" tall. Thickness about 1/8". I wanted something different for a stand so I used a scrap piece of burl, sanded it flat and cut a slot with the BS. Finish is wipe on gel poly and Beall buffed.
