Turned from Pecan; pyrography applied Texas state logo; each bookend is 10.5” tall, 7” wide, and 3” deep; Texas logo is approximately 4.5” x 4.5”; finished with Watco Danish Oil, Natural color.
This was purely an experiment so I could get the process and technique down. Maple-tray, Olive-background, Walnut-Texas and posts, crushed turquoise stone. Measures 9.5"x 2". Rim and tray were one piece so I shaped the rim and then cut it off. You can see the back side where I drilled...
Figured Big Leaf Maple, Texas Ebony foot, Chinese symbol and polished brass ring inlayed into the inside bottom of bowl. "Yeren" is Chinese for Bigfoot! It's very stable though. 7" x 3". Custom Finish
