Texas twisters

Texas twisters

These are some of my tops with a Texas marquetry inlay.
Bill, I cannot imagine how long each of these tops takes to create. The marquetry would require a lot of extra time. I don't know if the people who get them would be appreciative of that fact. I hope so, because they are very unique. How do you get so many different colors of wood for the Texas Twisters? This is very fine and detailed work.

Bill - most of the wood is scrap from other projects and what I have collected over the years.

Ruth - thanks - I got the name from Gary Miller on WOW hope he doesn't mind just sounds better than TX tops!
