Bob,
Thanks to you and all the volunteers.

It is members like yourself and the hundreds of others who volunteer their time and effort that make the symposium work.

I'm just a small part of big group of dedicated people that make the AAW and symposium work for all the membership.

See you in Casselberry!
I mean ALbuquerque

I just joined so this is all new to me so please bear with me it's easier to ask than try to find it. Is this an anual event or 1 of many? And is there any closer to the east coast?

Mark,

The AAW Symposium is an annual event usually in late June.
It moves around the country to be close to all members.
2008 was in Richmond, VA 2010 will be in Hartford, CN

This is the BIG show ( the biggest on the planet annually)
60-70 demonstrators
161 presentations divide among 11 time slots
50-60 tradeshow vendors
1600 attendees the past 2 years
over 1000 pieces in the instant gallery

There are quite a few Regional symposiums around the country.
several are on the east coast from Florida to NY. They are all excellent

These regional symposiums are smaller 200-800 attendees the SWAT may be larger. The Florida Symposium for example has
8 demonstrators (same folks you might see at the AAW)
32 presentations divided among 8 time slots
10 tradeshow vendors
280 attendees
300 pieces in the instant gallery

I've been fortunate to attend both the Florida Symposium and the AAW for the past few years. They are different animals and it is hard to say which I enjoy more.

You'll enjoy Albuquerque
Al
