New member. New to turning. I started with a mini lathe and recently upgraded to a RIKON midi and passed my mini to my youngest son who has an interest. I have started learning with what seems to be a normal progression. Bottle stoppers, pens, various small handled kits, etc. Am starting to try small bowls and would like to do larger ones. Got a low speed grinder and working my way through learning how to sharpen my tools with somewhat varied success. Have seen the web site in the past and thought it was a good resource, so I signed up.
